What is Twitter?

Twitter sends short messages to “followers”

You can read these messages on the internet at Twitter. com, or on a smartphone with internet connectivity.

In addition to news on our school website (Wilson.tcsd.org)  we can send out Twitter message reminders about upcoming school events.

How to Twitter:

1. Go to the Twitter website:  twitter.com

2. Create a username for yourself.

You can log in to your account on the internet to read twitter messages, you don’t need a phone.

If you have a smartphone, you will need to add an app on your phone for twitter such as

For blackberry:  twitterberry or ubertwitter 

For iphone:  Twitterific or Tweetdeck   from the Apple App Store

3. After you have a Twitter username, go to Wilson’s website    (Wilson.tcsd.org)

4. Click on FOLLOW US ON TWITTER

                You will see the Wilson twitter page.   WilsonSchoolWY    -  the Wilson twitter name

5. Click JOIN to start receiving twitters from Wilson School.

Once you have a twitter account, you might get unwanted other people who want to follow YOU.

Just click on that person’s twittername and click BLOCK and they can’t follow you.  That’s it.
